to show you what was waiting for me when I got home!!
I participated in Lynne‘s Special Swap – and look what goodies my swap partner, Emily, me!
The theme of the swap was to send your swap partner on a mini-vacation anywhere in the world, and Emily sent me to Japan with this beautiful and amazingly soft Habu textiles wool – 960 yards of it!
She also sent some delicious Japanese goodies- a beautiful rice bowl, and some chopsticks. She had even scattered in some cute little oragami birds!
Thanks Emily – what a treat to come home to!
Lucky you, Lynda! What a great vacation package!
wow! what an awesome trip!
Thank you for the words of encouragement regarding my first lace shawl. I loved hearing about the Sea Socks cruise.
How cool! Now what are you going to knit up with that gorgeous yarn?
I hope you can come up with something beautiful to make with the yarn – I am willing to be that it dyes well too.
One of my favorite things about swaps is seeing things that started out in my house and on my blog show up on other people’s blogs. I find that endlessly entertaining.
