A pastor’s wife once told me that something she always tried to impress on her daughters was that when they walked into a room their attitude should not be “Here I Am!” – but, instead, put their focus on others, not themselves…. “There you are!”
I always liked that. I try to remember, my focus should not be on me, but those around me.
So – why the blog change? It was driving me crazy that Blogger was no longer giving me email addresses when people left comments. I want to talk to you guys! I want to say “thanks” when you’re kind enough to stop by and leave a comment! I want to say, “There you are!!”
So, here I find myself at WordPress. Thanks Kaity, for moving me over!
Up top there? That pretty Mountain Colors, Mountain Goat in the Painted Rocks colorway…. yep, you all guessed it. It’s a Clapotis.
There’s no pulling the wool over your eyes, – heh, heh.

There you are and here I am!
Blogger did that to me too but after a while, the e-mail addresses came back. … hmm I must remember to change the blogline feed for this new blog.
Hi Lynda,
There you are! I am glad to have found your new site and didn’t loose touch with you.
Julie
Very nice set up. If I ever get back to blogging (dependent on being able to get high speed) I just might go this route. Blogger always gave me fits.
Wow, I like your new digs! I agree, Blogger sucks that there is no way to easily email those folks that comment.
I was so glad to find you! I really appreciate what you said this morning. I have been suffering from PLOM Sydrome (poor lil ole me)
and once again I am reminded to put my focus first on Him and then on others. What a great way to put it!
I am still in awe of your knitting skills. I have been knitting almost 3 years and still seem to have knitting ADD. To scared to try a big project and loosing interest quickly when frogging is involved. So I watch you from afar and think “someday”
God Bless you!
And “there YOU are!”
I like the new look, too!
Found ya!
You’re so sweet for thinking of others, so much that you moved your whole blog!? That is JUST. SO. SWEET.
I like it here, and I’m liking your clapper!
Kaity did a great job over here too, btw.
Congratulations on the move, it looks great! I like that idea of “There you are” mentality, thanks for the reminder.
Nice new place! I’ve always loved that reminder, too. Mmmmm, Mountain colors…now that is a yarn that is on my list once this Knit From Your Stash thing is over!
Pretty colors on your Clapotis. I’ve been thinking about moving to wordpress, but haven’t had the time to really check it out. How do you like it so far?
Looking good! Both the new site and Clapotis. Don’t you love dropping those stitches?
I’ll be interested to hear how you like WordPress as you use it.
Welcome to your new “home”! I have the same complaint about blogger too! I love your Clapotis! I’m going to get some WIPs out of the way and then make myself another one. I just love wrapping myself up in the one I have now.
Here you are. I was worried that you were going to leave us but now I have you in my bloglines again! Are you making a Clapotis there?
Love the new site! I really like that shawl, too. I went and looked at the pattern and it looks too hard for me, though. Too much thinking and counting.
Love the move! The template looks familiar (hehe) And the clap looks good – can’t wait to see it all finished. =)
What a wonderful way of thinking, thank you soo much for sharing that!
Wow…the new blog looks great. I was wondering about the non-reply comments…I knew there was something fishy about that on blogger?! Thanks for the update, I’ll be changing your link on my sidebar today.
Here you are! I like your new home, and the new project! I just love that Mountain Goat yarn.
And there you are!!! I love your new blog. Here’s to much happiness and tons of wonderful projects in new home.
Beautiful new site! Love the banner. And that clapotis will be gorgeous.
So is this ALWAYS giving you email addresses? I’m SO tempted to move. Blogger only gives me addresses half the time.
Your Clapotis is going to be beautiful. That yarn looks PERFECT for it!
Welome to your new blog home. I really like the look of it!
I’ve got you all changed on bloglines so we’re back in business. I know what you mean about those email addresses, but I’m to lazy to change now. Ah, but once I have the email, i can always easily find it again because I have gmail. Well enjoy your new home!
Hey, Lynda~
Followed you here. Don’t worry, you are not the last person on earth to knit a Clapotis. I’m busy keeping you from last place. Somehow, I must be the only blog-savvy knitter who just doesn’t get the Clapotis? It’s just not enticing to me. Yours looks lovely, though.

Hey Lynda — Great new blog!! Love the clapotis; i started mine the other night.
Beautiful new blog! Blogger is so frustrating, I’m sure you will enjoy your blogging much more now. And what pretty colors you are using for your clapotis.
New and improved (with email)!! Your Clapotis is gorgeous.
Welcome! Kaity also moved me over, and since she did, I figured out how to put my own photo on top of the page, so now I have a great view of Morro Bay every time I go to the page! Yay!
Have FUN!
Love the look of your new place! I’ll make sure to change the link on my sidebar.
Hello!
This wonderful lesson….There you are! has inspired me to de-lurk!!
You have a great site and you are a fabulous knitter. Oh, and I’ve never made clapotis, either!
cheers!
Hi Lynda!
I like the new blog. If I could just firgure out how to make my move to wordpress. It’s WAY over my head, though. Claapotis looks like it’s coming along. I too am a clapotis virgin… maybe you’ll inspire me!
Welcome to your new home!
Everything looks great!
Blogger and the comments is why I switched to Haloscan for my comments.
I have that same problem with Blogger and the comments. GRRRR So how was the switch here? Was it difficult? I do all my own blog changes so it’s kinda scary to think about switching.
BTW I tried to use HaloScan for comments and it “lost” all my old comments. They no longer showed up for me once Haloscan was installed. Otherwise I would still be using it!
I like your new banner. Very nice (and so is the Clap!).
Congrats on the move – looks great!
There you are!! Love the new site and hope you’ll be very happy here. I’m always happy to read your blog and see what you’re up to.
Clapotis looks LOVELY!!
Such a lovely new home! I’ve switch the bloglines feed, girl, so I will be knocking at your door!
hey, i like the new digs! i’m thinking of switching too – it’s a pain to have to click on the commenter’s name only to be taken to the profile page, then have to find their blog and then hope there’s an email address somewhere… i hate the new blogger! boo.
Hey, here you are! I am actually having the same problems and got my blog over at http://rubysnpurls.wordpress.com. I haven’t moved yet. I hope to have more time this week and move on over there. Do you like it so far? How did you get your theme customized to you? That is the biggest problem I am having?
Such pretty colors on Clapotis!
Welcome to WordPress!
) I wonder if Blogger will see the light now that so many are leaving…?
